started out as a group of radical, like-minded musicians, who were asked to play for a larger radical, like-minded group of people.  They were soon asked to be featured at an annual, private gathering during the Autumnal Solstice.  Their passion for well written music and close harmonies, soon led to local fame.  They perform a broad variety of the finest written songs from over 4 decades in a seamless neo-folk style.  Chris Loughrin a/k/a Sweet Lou, Susan Loughrin, Bob Kleinheksel, Bill Kooistra, and Kurt Forrest are...Sweet Lou and the Savages.
